What is MPC

My Peak Challenge is a global movement dedicated to educating and inspiring its members to live healthier, happier and more balanced lives while raising funds to change lives. It’s a community and support system rooted in the belief that we can all effect positive change in our lives while helping others.

Founded by philanthropist and Outlander star Sam Heughan, MPC offers its community a fully integrated training, nutrition and support program to help members accelerate toward their goals while overcoming any obstacles. Over the course of 12 months, MPC members develop a foundation for creating mind, body and lifestyle improvements, all while participating in a fitness program adaptable to any level of expertise (beginner, intermediate or advanced).

My Peak Challenge is about reaching outside of your comfort zone, finding something that you don’t think you can do, setting a challenge, preparing for it and ultimately achieving it. Most people interpret that as a physical challenge — walk a 5K, train for a triathlon, go hiking, climb a mountain — but many others set creative challenges: finish writing that book, take up painting again, go vegetarian for a month or more, learn to sew or knit or sing or play a new instrument or speak a new language. No matter what the challenge, we believe that empowerment is born through achieving something you never thought you could.

MPC2017 will continue to support Bloodwise, a UK-based charity that funds blood-cancer research. 50 percent of MPC2017 memberships goes directly to Bloodwise.

The 2016 campaign raised $299,000, which funded a clinical trial testing a drug to treat acute myeloid leukemia, among the most aggressive blood cancers.

Click here to become a member. Membership in MPC2017 is the essential first step to reaching your peak. We will provide you with a workout and meal plan every day this year and, through the warm embrace of our community and the knowledge of our coaches, we will motivate, advise and uplift you.

Make a Commitment
Whatever it is you’ve chosen to pursue, whether a physical or creative challenge or both, pledge to work toward achieving it. Commit to yourself and to other Peakers — tag us on social media or post in the private MPC2017 Facebook group — that you will continue to work toward your goal, no matter what obstacles arise along the way. Join the team and reach your peak.

Schedule Your Challenge
In 2017, Challenge Month is September. It’s not a strict requirement that you complete your challenge that month, but it’s more fun when everyone is working toward a similar end date. To keep you motivated and engaged, we will be issuing you mini-challenges throughout the year, and MPC doesn’t stop when Challenge Month ends. The training and nutrition program continues and so does the striving for ever-higher peaks.
